Freya refuses to surrender her mate and walks away from the pack.
Wedding chimes mark the moment Alpha Killian disappears, only to resurface on a family video kneeling before Freya's twin, Daisy, sliding the Celestine Ring onto her finger while their father beams. A maternal mind-link commands Freya to yield her mate and Luna rank, citing Daisy's wolfsbane frailty and warning against a scene. Parents confess they engineered the swap to avoid conflict, dismissing Freya's rage as trivial. The realization lands hard: her bond, title, and belonging were always disposable. Freya stops fighting for a place that never valued her and chooses to leave the pack behind.
