About Play Micro Drama

Play Micro Drama is a small, independent guide to vertical micro dramas. We did not make any of the series listed here, we are not the app that sells them, and we hold no rights in them. Think of us as the friend who has already sampled the first few levels and can tell you whether a show is worth your evening.

What a level page gives you

Every series has one page. It sums up the lead's mission, how the story unfolds, why the premise grabs people and how heavy or breezy the mood is, so you can decide in under a minute. The numbered tiles under the player let you try the opening episodes right on the page.

Where the episodes actually play from

We keep no video library. When you press Start, your browser loads the episode from servers run by the rights holder or by the platform that distributes the show. On the rare occasion a browser cannot read a preview straight from the source, our server passes the stream along as it arrives, without saving a copy.

The Play on button

Complete seasons live inside the official apps. Play on opens a short hand-off screen that shows the in-app search code for that series. The code is copied at one instant only, when you tap that screen's button, and then you are sent on to the app or its website.

How the lights stay on

A share of the hand-off links are affiliate links: sign up or pay for something after following one and the app may pay us a commission. You pay exactly the same either way, and commissions do not decide which series get a page.

Behind the screen

The site is delivered through Cloudflare's network, which speeds pages up and shields our server. That server writes ordinary access logs (time, requested address, browser type) for security and troubleshooting. There are no accounts, newsletters or ad trackers here, and we never ask for personal details. The privacy page has the specifics.
